Most Important Meal of the Day

& it was yummy.

Two whole wheat waffles with 1/2 a banana, tbsp of chopped pecans, & a tsp of 100% grade A Maple Syrup.

So what did I think of my first Flex breakfast? It was really good, once I got over the this-is-really-different part. 🙂 I am used to not being able to taste the waffle due to the amount of syrup, so drizzling 1 tsp of syrup seemed minuscule.

I was surprised how much sweetness the bananas added and how strong that little bit of syrup was. I’ve never had grade A; it definantly packs a lot of flavor.

Unfortunately Food Lion does not carry whole grain anything.

Yes, whole grain is better for you. My question is, is whole wheat better than white?  I’m thinking yes & hoping I’m right. 🙂
